Lamplighter Brewing Co., a microbrewery and taproom based in Cambridge, MA, got in touch with me about designing a can for Sweater Weather, their latest brew. Sweater Weather is a beer-cider hybrid brewed with our friends at Shacksbury Cider, a former client of mine. Fermented with Belgian yeast and blended with 275 gallons of dry apple cider, this ester-forward ale is medium bodied and smooth. The can was designed to evoke the feeling of fall in New England, when everything is orange and gold, and there’s nothing better than slipping on a hefty woollen sweater.
