The Century Foundation is celebrating 100 years of policy progress, and they wanted a video to celebrate decades of original, evidence-based policy leadership that has pushed the progressive movement and America forward. Their work has contributed to policies that make the economy stronger, elections fairer, communities healthier, and schools and society more equitable. Today, that legacy continues in their fight for higher wages and stronger worker protections, universal health care and debt-free college, and equal rights for all people, to name just a few examples.
I art directed this video with Purpose, designing each style frame as we built a narrative that communicated historical achievements to today’s audiences. It was produced by Savannah O’Leary and animated by Ericka Ubasa
The animation needed to be a celebration of what the think tank had accomplished to date and an introduction of its point-of-view going into the next 100 years.
